This course provides participants with the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge required to conduct dozer operations and applies to those working in site-based roles.
This course equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge to conduct dozer operations safely and effectively. Designed for individuals working in site-based roles, and crucial for those looking to enhance their competencies in general civil construction, coal and metalliferous civil and extractive industries.
This course is delivered by Industries Services Training, trading as ISAustralia (RTO 0860) in partnership with LicensingTL. LicensingTL is responsible for the recruitment, enrolment, support and training of participants undertaking this course. Industries Services Training, trading as ISAustralia (RTO 0860), is responsible for support, assessment and certification of all participants enrolled in this course.

- • Plan and prepare for dozer operations
- • Select, remove, fit and use attachments for a dozer
- • Carry out machine operator maintenance activities
- • Operate dozer in line with established requirements to complete work plan
- • Relocate the dozer
- • Conduct housekeeping activities
Delivery Information
COURSE DURATION
The full course is delivered 5 days per week for a total of 25 training and assessment days (5 weeks). This is an accredited unit of competency that will include a blend of theory, practice and practical assessment.

DELIVERY
- 5 weeks of classroom and practical site training and assessment
- Self-paced learning and homework approximately 2–3 hours estimated per week
Entry Requirements
- Age: Minimum 18 years of age
- Language/Literacy: Average English reading and writing skills
- Oral Communication
- Have the necessary health and fitness to carry out the work safely
- A USI is required for those completing the training in Australia; for those completing the course in Timor-Leste an exemption is applied
Course Outcome
On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for ‘RIIMPO323E Conduct Civil Construction Dozer Operations’ unit of competency.
Please be advised that this course will not lead to an occupational licensed outcome in Australia. However the Timor-Leste regulator IGEADI does recognise this course under their framework.
